During my stay at the Union Club, I was truly transported back in time. The charming atmosphere and historic vibe of the hotel made me feel like I was living in a different era. One of the highlights was definitely the ancient Otis elevator, complete with a brass gate and glass door. Riding it was like taking a step back into the past. I also loved the vast and quiet reading room, filled with magazines and newspapers, where I could relax and unwind. The excellent customer service added to the overall enjoyable experience.

The history and charm of the old building created a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The recently updated bathrooms were a nice touch, and the fabulous library and reading room were a great addition. The old bar and dining room added to the overall old world ambiance. Additionally, the location was perfect, with a secure entrance and friendly staff. The free breakfast, which offered a varied menu with fresh local options, was fantastic.
Felt truly looked after, no complaint.

The Inn at the Union Club of BC is a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. The historic building, located near the waterfront, oozes charm and history. We loved exploring the various rooms and admiring the beautiful Victorian-style furniture and carpeting. The staff members were professional and accommodating, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The basic amenities provided were sufficient, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The convenient location of the hotel allowed us to easily explore all the major sites in the area. One highlight was the bar, which provided the perfect setting for our family celebration. The breakfast included was a great way to start the day and added value to our stay.
No major issues, everything was okay.

Central location. Exceptional ambience. Stylish house and rooms furnished with original Victorian-style furniture. Very cosy. Very well kept. Very personal address in the whole house. A highlight of our holiday - please bring well-groomed clothes, as dress code is mandatory! Very good value for money!
No wishes have been left unfulfilled.

Excellent location directly in the centre. Very friendly staff
The whole building with club and hotel already looks very dusty. A lot of it is old, heavily worn and should actually be renewed. The whole flair is "very British". If one appreciates this atmosphere, it is a clear recommendation.
